Hello everyone! This post is dedicated to those who never have time for breakfast during the week. I’ve created 5 easy breakfast recipes that will make your life easier and healthier. As you know, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so I made these recipes because I don’t want any of you skipping it. I’ve mostly used banana and seeds in the recipes. Why? Because bananas are high in calories and provide lots of energy, making them perfect for the morning when we need energy to power through the day. Seeds are also great for the body and brain. I used a mix of seeds, but feel free to use any seeds you like.

Super Porridge


INGREDIENTS:

  • Porridge oats
  • Almond milk (or your usual milk)
  • 1 small banana
  • Blueberries
  • Mixed seeds (pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, poppy seeds, brown sesame seeds)
  • Agave nectar

Step 1: Put the oats in a bowl and add some milk. Cook it in the microwave for 2 minutes, or cook it on the hob. For stovetop, use 1 cup of oats to 2 cups of milk, bring it to a boil, and simmer for 3 minutes while stirring continuously.

Step 2: Chop the banana, and before you add it to the porridge, mix 1 tbsp of agave nectar into the oats. Then, add the banana, forming a circle (as shown in the picture above). In the middle of the circle, add the blueberries.

Step 3: Decorate everything with some seeds.



EXPLOSION OF VITAMIN C 


INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 kiwiis
  • 1 orange
  • Agave nectar
Step 1: Blend the kiwiis until smooth  and  squeeze the orange to get juice.

Step 2: Mix the kiwiis with the orange juice, add more orange juice if you like the smoothie more liquid.

Step 3: Add some agave nectar to sweeten.




ENERGIZE YOUR MORNING


INGREDIENTS: 
  • 1 small pot of Yoghurt 
  • Granola
  • chopped Banana
Method: Add the yogurt, granola, and chopped banana into a glass or bowl. Enjoy!

APPLE A DAY KEEPS THE DOCTOR AWAY



INGREDIENTS:

  • Chopped apple
  • Chocolate chips
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Peanut butter

Method: Add the chopped apple and mix in the chocolate chips. Place 1 scoop of peanut butter in the middle, and decorate everything with ground cinnamon. Enjoy!




YUMMY TOAST


INGREDIENTS:

  • Chopped banana
  • Peanut butter
  • Mixed seeds
  • Whole grain bread with seeds

Method: Spread the peanut butter on the toast, then add the chopped banana. Top everything with the mixed seeds.
